Where treatment works around the problem
Where the cause is genetic, or the testicular tissue is damaged, assisted conception is the route. Depending on the numbers this may be IUI, IVF, or ICSI — where a single sperm is injected directly into an egg, which is precisely the problem ICSI was developed to solve.
